darlings back to school well don’t forget to send them with
cake!

I will be most disappointed if any of you do more than lift
a cool glass of lemonade this month – take some time out and
relax. Here is my secret recipe for good old fashioned Lemonade
Old Fashioned Lemonade
5 litres Water 2.5ltr
672g unrefined caster sugar (or more to taste) 336g
20 organic lemons 10
Peel the lemons with a potatoes peeler leaving behind as much
of the white pith as possible. Put the peels in to a large pot
and add the water. Bring to the boil.
Put the juice of the lemons and the sugar into a large heat proof
container and stir to combine. Pour the boiling water on to the
lemon juice and sugar and stir until it is dissolved. Cool and
serve chilled with lots of ice.
